Westside Family Health Center provides comprehensive, high quality, cost effective health care in an educational and supportive environment that empowers patients to take an assertive role in caring for their well-being through all stages of life.

We believe that by providing direct care services that dignify and encourage client involvement in decision-making about health care, we are cultivating a new generation of women and families that, in spite of poverty and other challenges, have the knowledge and resources to make informed decisions for themselves and their families.

Volunteers are a vital part of Westside Family Health Center’s services and operations. We depend on the hard work of volunteers—student interns and seasoned professionals alike—to help us in our mission to provide comprehensive, high quality, cost effective health care in an educational and supportive environment that empowers patients to take an assertive role in caring for their well-being through all stages of life. Over the years volunteers have donated countless hours, providing skills and expertise in the areas of healthcare, outreach, administration and special events.
