YWCA of San Francisco and Marin View Charity Profile
The YWCA USA is a women's movement sustained by the richness of many beliefs and values. Strengthened by diversity, the YWCA draws together members who strive to create opportunities for women's growth, leadership, and power in order to attain a common vision: peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all people.
YWCA of San Francisco and Marin Volunteer Information
CITS is seeking women who want to mentor or tutor a young woman. Mentors will meet weekly with their mentee and will commit to spend quality time with the mentee for 4 hours a month for a minimum of six months. Chinatown Youth Program is seeking persons willing to volunteer three hours a day, one day a week, assisting children with English speaking skills through activities and conversation. Volunteers need not be bi-lingual. The Apartments are seeking individuals to help coordinate activities for seniors and disabled residents. Volunteers are welcome to join the Computer Learning Center in helping to provide and enhance services to the community with computer training programs.
