Wyland Clean Water Challenge View Charity Profile
Wyland Clean Water Challenge is an exciting new art and science program developed by the Wyland Foundation, Scripps Institution of Oceanography (UCSD) and the Birch Aquarium at Scripps.
Fifteen years of experience traveling America, inspiring children and the public to protect and preserve our precious water resources has led to the development of The Wyland Clean Water Challenge.
Our goal is to share the world’s knowledge about clean water conservation in a creative and dynamic way. Partnering with teachers we are presenting the largest most comprehensive, Internet-driven art and science clean water education program in history. Together we can ensure students throughout the world have the tools necessary to meet the environmental challenges that lie ahead in the 21st Century.
Wyland Clean Water Challenge Volunteer Information
As the program grows, we hope to reach 57 millions students throughout the United States and, ultimately, every student around the world. To accomplish this, we are asking principals, teachers, parents, businesses, and concerned citizens to join us in implementing this program in classrooms by volunteering as a program spearhead or contributing financial assistance. With your help, we can educate and inspire students from all walks of life to protect and preserve the water systems of our planet- and improve the quality of life for everyone in the future.
