Women's Health Specialists Charity Profile

Womenis Health Specialists (formerly Chico Feminist Womenis Health Center) philosophy is to promote positive images of women and provide our clients with a new perspective on their bodies and health. We give women the tools to evaluate their real health care needs, regard their bodies and life stages as normal. Our goal is to empower women through support, education, self-help and services to be able to make the best health care decisions for themselves.

Women's Health Specialists Volunteer Information

Women from the community with or without health care experience can volunteer at our clinics. There are opportunities to help out in the office, escort women into the clinic and leaflet community events. Volunteers that can give at least a six-month commitment can be trained as health workers and work in the clinic. We provide comprehensive women health training and on the job experience.

Women's Health Specialists Donation Information

Your donation supports the only independent non-profit women-run health center in Northern California, helping almost 80,000 women and men per year.

Your donation help us build and strengthen our support network to confront the barrage of attacks on women's rights, reproductive choice and social bigotry.
