The National Center for Youth Law works to ensure that low-income children have the resources, support, and opportunities they need for healthy and productive lives.

The National Center for Youth Law (NCYL) uses the law to improve the lives of poor children. NCYL works to ensure that low-income children have the resources, support, and opportunities they need for a healthy and productive future. Much of NCYL's work is focused on poor children who are additionally challenged by abuse and neglect, disability, or other disadvantage.

National Center for Youth Law NCYL Sacramento Volunteer Information

The National Center for Youth Law (NCYL) is seeking attorneys to volunteer in its Oakland office. NCYL is interested in applicants with a demonstrated commitment to child advocacy and/or poverty law. In particular, applicants should have a keen interest in the rights of poor and vulnerable children.

The National Center for Youth Law (NCYL) is seeking law students to work during summer, fall, and spring. Law clerks work closely with NCYL staff attorneys who are among the most experienced, knowledgeable, and respected children's lawyers in the country.

NCYL is also seeking interns to work in its communications department, primarily working on the website and increasing its online presence.
