Shasta Land Trust Volunteer Information
Volunteers play a vital role in all aspects of Shasta Land Trust’s mission. There are opportunities to help occasionally or to become more involved; it’s up to you.
Help plan WILDWAYS parties – it’s a great way to get to know the community and have fun at the same time. Assistance is always welcome in finding party hosts and helping put these fun events together. Maybe you have an idea for a new party and would be will ing to host it in the future. We are eager to hear about creative new events which build community and financial support for Shasta Land Trust.
Other events (besides WILDWAYS) might include leading a mountain bike ride on Fenwood or Hathaway Ranch, or a bird watching expedition to River Ranch in the wonderful Fall River Valley. Give us your ideas!
Projects might include assisting in collecting data for baseline reports, habitat restoration projects, or exotic species removal. Training is provided for each project.
There are always projects in our office that could benefit from the talents of volunteers. We welcome volunteers on a regular or on-call basis.
We need your ideas and involvement to continually improve our publications.
