Union Station Homeless Services Charity Profile
In 1973, a group of community volunteers founded Union Station as a humble hospitality center to serve poor and homeless men in Pasadena's then-blighted downtown district. From a single storefront on Union Street, Union Station has grown into the San Gabriel Valley’s largest and most comprehensive social service agency providing homeless community members with housing, employment and life skills programs.
Mission is to help men, women and children rebuild their lives and end homelessness.
Union Station Homeless Services Volunteer Information
At Union Station, volunteers make our work possible. From preparing meals to leading workshops for our clients to helping in the office, volunteers provide vital support that keeps our programs running. We are grateful for these generous, dedicated individuals.
Purchase, prepare, and serve dinner or sack lunches at our Adult Center or Family Center
Help prepare and serve breakfast and lunch at our Adult Center shelter Monday through Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM or 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Every year Union Station brings together thousands of volunteers to serve bountiful meals and holiday cheer to our less fortunate community members.
