Kara: Grief Support for Children, Teens and Adults Charity Profile

Kara is a center offering compassionate peer support and education to individuals, families and organizations coping with death and dying. Our mission is to empower children, teens and adults to find their way through grief so that they can rebuild their lives with renewed hope and meaning.

Kara: Grief Support for Children, Teens and Adults Volunteer Information

Kara is looking for volunteers who would like to learn how to support others through the grief process.

Kara also needs volunteers to help in the office (mailings, MS Access database applications, website updating) and to help support Kara's events.

Kara: Grief Support for Children, Teens and Adults Donation Information

Kara does not charge clients a fee for its services. With almost half of its funding coming from individuals, Kara is dependent on the generosity of the community for financial support.
