CASA, A Voice for Children Charity Profile

CASA volunteers are sworn officers of the court, appointed by a judge to be an independent advocate and report on the best interests of children.
The Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program is dedicated to providing abused, neglected and abandoned children a voice in Court throughout their process in the Juvenile Court system. Trained community volunteers work with children and their families, one child at a time, to develop an independent assessment and recommendation of that which is in the best interest of the child.
