Asian Pacific American Leadership Intisitute of Silicon Valley Charity Profile

Founded in 1997, the Asian Pacific American Leadership Institute (APALI) at De Anza College is an educational and public service organization supported by visionary philanthropists, together with corporate, foundation, and community partners.

The vision of APALI is to advance civic leadership education and to create a civic leadership pipeline from underrepresented communities. Each year, APALI educates and nurtures over 150 leaders who range from youth leaders to emerging community leaders to elected officials through five leadership education programs.

APALI has an active Senior Fellows and alumni network who are civically engaged, often in leadership positions, in non-profit, public, and private sectors in the Silicon Valley and Bay Area. APALI provides a unique blend of knowledge, skills, and networking for effective leadership.
