Ratna Ling Retreat Center Charity Profile

Ratna Ling Retreat Center operates under the direction of Tarthang Tulku, a Tibetan Lama who has lived in America since 1968. A center for education, healing, and spirituality in everyday life, it is open to all, without regard to religious affiliation. Ratna Ling offers retreats, workshops, conferences, and programs in healing and wellness.

Ratna Ling Retreat Center Volunteer Information

Like all the Nyingma Centers around the world, Ratna Ling is run entirely by full-time volunteer staff. Typically long-term volunteers work during the day, six days a week, and take classes or study and practice in the early morning and evening.

Ratna Ling gratefully accepts help from short-term volunteers, including local residents who come by for a few hours or a weekend and visitors who stay for a few weeks. We think you will find our way of working, and the spirit of our community, a rewarding addition to your life.

We can use volunteers with skills in computer-related work, graphic design, cooking, typesetting, carpentry, gardening, and much more. There is also plenty of work for people with no particular skills who are willing to learn.
