Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Arkansas Charity Profile
Big Brothers Big Sisters is the oldest and largest youth mentoring organization in the United States. Trained professionals recruit, screen, match and support Big and Little Brothers and Sisters through a network of 470 agencies throughout the country. The Northwest Arkansas agency is proud to be one of them. These one-to-one mentoring relations between caring adults and children have documented positive outcomes for the children. To help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one to one relationships. Doing the powerful work of showing children they matter.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Arkansas Volunteer Information
Be a Big Brother, Big Sister, Big Couple or Big Family!Meet with a child 2-4 times a month for a couple of hours at a time.
Go to the mall, wash the car, shoot hoops, go to the park, watch a movie, play video games, do crafts or any other activity your match enjoys!
Meet with a child once a week for about one hour at school or community facility

Eat lunch, play games, help with homework, read a book or go to recess!
Join the volunteer group for individuals who want to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of NWA.
A Big League member can be a current volunteer or an individual who may not have the time to be involved in a mentoring relationship.
Big League meets monthly to plan fundraisers, match activities and recruitment events, benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Arkansas.
The University of Arkansas Big Brothers Big Sisters Registered Student Organization is dedicated to helping recruit volunteers for the Northwest Arkansas agency, by hosting recruitment events and activities on the UA campus. Any student at the U of A is welcome as a member.
Members help with events and assist with recruitment.
Participate in Bowl For Kids' Sake, Big Brothers Big Sisters' largest fundraiser.
Donate auction items for events.
Host a Little Moments informational session at your home or place of business.
Organize a Jeans Day at your office, benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of NWA!
