Boys Girls Club of Benton County Charity Profile
The Boys & Girls Club of Benton County depends on contributions from the community to provide the facilities, programs and activities we offer to more than 8,000 local school aged children.
Boys & Girls Club of Benton County is a registered 501 (c) 3 organization and contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.As a nationally recognized youth organization, we aspire to serve the youth of Benton County through expansion of staff and facilities, which reflect the needs to our growing region. Our qualified and diverse leadership team will provide the environment for development of life skills to promote strong families and communities
Boys Girls Club of Benton County Volunteer Information
The Boys & Girls Club of Benton County is grateful for the generosity of ALL of the volunteers who donate their time and talent to help our kids. We are currently in need of volunteers to:
Mentor children
Tutor Children
Facilitate physical Recreation Activities
Facilitate social recreation Activities
Facilitate artistic projects
Facilitate music projects
Facilitate a technology program
Another way to volunteer for the Boys & Girls Club is to become a mentor to a child of an incarcerated parent. Through a US Dept. of Health and Human Services grant, the Boys & Girls Club is proud to offer this program. We have many children that need a positive, consistent role model in their life. We need caring volunteers. There are few requirements for this program.
1. Mentors must pass a criminal and sexual predators background check.
2. Mentors must attend a brief but thorough mentor training.
3. Mentors must commit to meet weekly with their mentee for a period of lasting duration.
