Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas,Inc. Charity Profile
The Area Agency is a non-profit agency that provides programs and services to assist with the many needs of a community. While we primarily serve the older population, we offer many services to persons of all ages, including home health, transportation and care management. When you contact the Agency for help, ask about the income and age rules for the services you need. Eligibility and payment options vary widely. Some services are available through private pay or private insurance.

Whether you are an older adult yourself, or a caregiver concerned about the well-being and independence of an older adult, The Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas (AAASEA) is ready to help.
The services available through AAASEA fall into broad categories:
Access Services-such as information and referral, outreach, case management, escort and transportation
In-Home Services-which include chore, home-delivered meals, homemaker, and personal care.
Community Services-including senior center, congregate meal, nursing home ombudsman, elder abuse prevention, health promotion, and fitness programs
Caregiver Services-such as respite, counseling, and education programs
Since the majority of our funding is from federal and state funds and our services are typically provided without charge, donations are an important funding source. We are always willing and able to receive tax deductible donations to help fund services for seniors in our ten-county area. Any and all donations are accepted.
