Yuma Community Food Bank Charity Profile
Founded in 1978 by a group of dedicated volunteers, the Yuma Community Food Bank focused on the need to feed hungry children within Yuma County. Twenty-Six years later, YCFB continues to create and enhance emergency and supplemental food programs that have an educational and a nutritional component geared to the youngest of our community. The Yuma Community Food Bank’s Mission is to relieve hunger, increase self-reliance and improve the quality of life for children and families throughout southwestern Arizona. The Vision Statement is, "to build a strong, well nourished community in the Desert Southwest.

The Yuma Community Food Bank reaches out to you, our community...to thank you for your past support and encourage you to see what we have accomplished since we opened our new facility three years ago. We salute our donors and friends, our board of directors, volunteers and dedicated staff. Success depends on every piece fitting together to make a whole. As our community of clients grows, so grows our needs. Help us continue the important work we do. We cannot do it alone.
