Wingspan Anti-Violence Project WAVP View Charity Profile

Wingspan is Southern Arizona's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community center. Wingspan is a non-profit, charitable organization that serves Tucson and Southern Arizona. Gifts to Wingspan are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowable by the IRS. Wingspan's mission is to promote the freedom, equality, safety and well-being of LGBT people.

Wingspan Anti-Violence Project WAVP Volunteer Information

We currently have about 250 volunteers, including the board of directors, resource volunteers and committee members. Wingspan is always in need of new, creative ideas and energetic help to maintain and improve all of our services and programs.
Wingspan is especially interested in volunteers who are able to make a commitment to work for a minimum of one year. All Wingspan volunteers are required to undergo a two-hour general Wingspan Volunteer Orientation. Additional training requirement depends on the volunteer position.

You can make a difference in Tucson and Southern Arizona's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community with a gift to Wingspan. Your donation supports our youth program, domestic violence services, health and wellness program, senior services, transgender programming, community information and referrals, lending library, computer center, and all our other services for Tucson and Southern Arizona's LGBT community. As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, all gifts to Wingspan are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowable by the IRS.
