Solari Hospice Care's purpose and mission result in giving the gift of hospice to those facing the end of their life, allowing each individual to complete life's journey in a manner that meets their specific physical, psychosocial, emotional and spiritual needs with intense focus on maintaining dignity and insuring comfort.

Solari Hospice Care Volunteer Information

Solari Hospice Care is proud to have a volunteer program that sets it apart from other hospice programs due to the volunteers’ high level of compassion, commitment, and creativity. Our caring volunteers provide a variety of services to Solari Hospice Care’s patients including friendly visits, companionship, short-term respite for the caregiver, massage therapy, music therapy, free notary service for patients, and expert volunteers in sign language. Our volunteers come from many walks of life and have different backgrounds and motivations for volunteering. All are dedicated to helping people and to raising the standard of hospice care. Our volunteers work with patients in their homes, in care centers, and in our new hospice homes. Since the beginning of the hospice movement, volunteers have played a vital role in providing care to hospice patients. They still do, and at Solari Hospice Care, we are building a team of outstanding volunteers.

Solari Hospice Care Donation Information

The mission of Solari Hospice Foundation is to create value for the community on a long-term basis by building a strong, philanthropic organization that enhances the hospice movement. One of the main ways we do so is through Camp Solari, a Bereavement Camp for Children and Their Families.
