All-Star Kids Tutoring View Charity Profile

All-Star Kids Tutoring, Inc. was founded in 1996 by a group of community-minded individuals who wanted to do something to help at risk youth in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. ASKT is a 501(c)3 non-profit that works closely with elementary schools serving low-income neighborhoods.

The vision of ASKT is to break the cycle of illiteracy so all children have an equal opportunity to succeed in education and in life.

The mission is to teach children the basic reading skills necessary to have a successful educational experience and an equal opportunity to succeed in life by providing a professionally managed one-on-one volunteer tutoring program staffed with well trained caring individuals who help each child achieve their full reading potential.
