Off Campus Jams Charity Profile
Off Campus Jams (OCJ) is a non-profit organization established in 1992 to provide youth ages 10-18 with tools, resources, and healthy relationships to succeed and excel in every area of life. Over the past 15 years, OCJ has served over 8,000 youth through our 12 after school drop in centers, one-on-one mentoring projects and services, crime and drug prevention education workshops, summer day camps, and international operations in Tanzania, India, and New Zealand. Our motto is Building dreams today for tomorrow’s future generation.
OCJ was founded to reach out to the growing population of unsupervised youth who were gathering after school with nothing productive to occupy their time and who were being tempted by negative influences, including gangs, drugs, and violent behavior. Over the years, OCJ has expanded its programs to include drug and alcohol awareness education, peer counseling, a computer center, teen runaway intervention, crisis pregnancy intervention, a 60-Day Smoke-Off Challenge, Project Graduation, and job training.
