Wildlife For Tomorrow Charity Profile
Wildlife for Tomorrow is a fundraising non-profit Foundation enhancing the protection, management and enjoyment of Arizona wildlife. The Foundation works closely with the Arizona Game and Fish Department as its 501 C (3) charity identifying needs where state funding sources are inadequate and distributing donor's tax deductible gifts to benefit our state's diverse and treasured wildlife resources.
The Foundation has been in existence since 1990. In the beginning the Foundation was known as Arizona Wildlife Conservation Foundation. In April 1993 it received its Trade Name from the State of Arizona, Wildlife for Tomorrow.
We have launched our 2007-08 Wildlife Area Funding Support inititive. This is designed to help fund needed projects on specific wildilfe areas around the State.
Wildlife For Tomorrow Volunteer Information
Like most non-profit organizations in the world, Wildlife for Tomorrow Foundation must have dedicated volunteers eager to participate in events and activities throughout the year. The Foundation's interest in recruiting quality volunteers has now become so important that WFT has employed a Volunteer Services Coordinator (VSC) to work closely with the Foundation and the Arizona Game and Fish Department on events, projects and services.
Wildlife For Tomorrow Donation Information
Wildlife need help at times, just like people. You can help Arizona's wildlife now and protect them for future generations through Wildlife for Tomorrow Foundation. The Foundation is an independent nonprofit organization that works closely with the Arizona Game and Fish Department to provide additional support for projects and education activities where traditional resources are not adequate. Taxes are of little help in paying for the management and preservation of Arizona's fish and wildlife. That task now falls to Arizona's anglers, boaters, hunters and non-consumptive use outdoor participants. Arizona Game and Fish Department, the state agency responsible for preserving our wildlife heritage, operates only through funds from licenses, user fees, lottery proceeds and part of the cost of the equipment outdoor users purchase. None of your income, property or sales tax dollars make a difference for our state's fish and wildlife.
Through Wildlife for Tomorrow Foundation, individuals, businesses and organizations can support projects which benefit all of Arizona's fish and wildlife and the habitats upon which they depend. You can help right now with a direct donation of money, services, equipment or materials. You can also help far into the future through your tax advantaged planned gift or a bequest in your will.
