The Institute of Political and Social Studies of Ituzaingó, wants to share some reflections on the Project of Law of the Reformation to the Council of the Magistrature and the Jury of Judgment of the Nation in treatment in the National Parliament.

The initiative, of the National Executive authority, that it advocates to reduce the amount of members of the referred Council, incurs one serious affectation to the National Constitution that, in its article 114, imposes that the same is integrated maintaining the balance between the representation of resulting political organs of the popular election, judges and lawyers.

The questioned project determines the diminution of the participation of judges, of academic lawyers and, the consolidation of an absolute majority of the political power, the cancellation of the participation of minority parties and the total exclusion of the lawyers of the process of selection of magistrates.
