Smiles Across Borders Charity Profile
I believe that it is the people of my generation that have the power to change the future and make it a better place for everyone – Everyone in this world deserves a bright future. And most of all, I am willing to make a commitment – A commitment to the people. And my commitment is: Smiles Across Borders.
Smiles Across Borders is a global initiative to provide quality dental healthcare to the people of this world. At the same time, we are interested in assisting with food and nutrition, and water sanitation, as these both directly affect dental health.
I have friends from every continent in this world that come from all different perspectives of life. Some have been homeless, recovering addicts, alcoholics, impoverished, wealthy, abused, etc. Many have lost their life due to some of the aforementioned. I feel obligated to use the knowledge that this great country has provided me with to assist others in making their lives the best they can possibly be!

Smiles Across Borders Volunteer Information
Jake is planning a trip to Cordoba, Argentina for the Summer 2010. He will be completing a volunteer internship at Hospital Pediatrico del Nino Jesus & Rawson Hospital in Cordoba, where he will be assisting local dentists and doctors over a vast array of surgeries and procedures.
Every week, Jake will attend an orphanage to distribute materials and products. He will also inform orphans on dental hygiene, dental health, and assist the area dentists with various operations.

We are currently accepting donations in various forms: dental education materials, dental hygiene products (toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, etc.), funding, etc.
